Abstract

Covid-19 has devastated economic sectors globally, with more than 54 million infections and 1.3 million deaths. Bangladesh's blue economy, one of its most emerging sectors, has been severely impacted by lockdowns and pandemic-related disruptions. This study examines resilience measures to adapt blue economy activities to Covid-19 conditions, identifies opportunities for reshaping Bangladesh's blue economy, addresses resulting challenges, and provides recommendations for sustainable recovery and functioning during and after the pandemic.
