Abstract
Since the last decade, organic foods are gaining importance as people become aware of healthy food's impact on minds and bodies. This study examines consumer awareness and preference for organic foods in Bhopal through a structured questionnaire administered to 226 respondents. The research explores awareness levels, preference factors, shopping behaviors, and information sources affecting purchase decisions. Results show 92.5% awareness of organic foods and 61.5% preference, with freshness and chemical-free content as primary purchasing factors. The study reveals significant potential for organic food market expansion through increased availability, targeted advertising, and consumer education.
