Editorial Process

Every manuscript submitted to the Princeton Journal of Pre-Collegiate Research (PJPCR) undergoes a structured editorial process designed to ensure fairness, quality, and academic integrity.

Following submission, manuscripts are screened by the Editorial Office to verify compliance with the journal's scope, submission guidelines, and ethical requirements. Eligible manuscripts proceed to double-blind peer review, where they are evaluated by independent experts in the relevant field.

Based on the reviewer reports, the handling editor issues an editorial decision: Accept, Minor Revisions, Major Revisions, or Reject. Where revisions are requested, authors are invited to revise and resubmit their manuscript for further evaluation.

Once a manuscript is accepted, it enters the production stage, which includes professional copyediting, formatting, typesetting, and proofreading. After final author approval, the article is scheduled for publication in the next available issue of PJPCR.

The editorial process is managed by PJPCR's Editorial Board and supported by editors, reviewers, and production staff who work together to maintain the journal's standards of scholarly excellence.
