The Legal Aspects of Economic Integration in Africa in the Field of Transport and Communication Within COMESA

This study examines the legal framework governing economic integration in Eastern and Southern Africa through the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA), with particular emphasis on transport and communication sectors. The research addresses how COMESA's protocols and treaties align with international standards such as OHADA while maintaining regional integration objectives. Key findings reveal that successful integration requires harmonization of national laws, resolution of language barriers, political stability, and infrastructure development among member states.
