Recyclable Materials and Solar Power as Hydroponic Setup in Glowing Plants

Abstract

This study explores the feasibility of using recyclable materials and solar power to construct an affordable, eco-friendly hydroponic system for plant cultivation. A solar-powered apparatus was designed using recycled plastic bottles, PVC tubes, and reclaimed chair materials as the growing structure, powered by a 20-watt solar panel with battery storage. Results demonstrate that the system sustained 7.9 to 8.9 hours of continuous operation nightly, with longer solar exposure directly correlating to extended battery supply times. This innovation reduces dependency on grid electricity, minimizes soil-borne diseases, and provides an accessible solution for both farmers and home gardeners seeking sustainable plant production methods.
