Abstract

This paper explores the philosophical and cognitive mechanisms of mental time travel, examining how the human mind navigates temporal dimensions through memory, imagination, and planning. Unlike physical time travel, which remains theoretically impossible for revisiting the past, mental time travel allows humans to access memories of bygone events and envision future possibilities. The study discusses the role of concentration, neural connectivity, and dream analysis in enhancing temporal cognition. By understanding how increased neural engagement and proper physiological conditions facilitate mental time travel, we can better comprehend human consciousness and our innate ability to transcend temporal boundaries. The implications extend to understanding human motivation, goal-setting, and the relationship between mental processes and reality manifestation.
