Abstract
Computer programs can help solve complex machinery management problems and enable managers to make better decisions regarding production factor balance. This study designed and developed a computer system to manage large-scale schemes in Gedaref rain-fed agriculture by estimating variable machine capacities and calculating fixed, variable, and total costs. The system was tested using published and field local data from Gedaref area, with predictions showing 88.8% to 99% accuracy compared to actual data. The system proved user-oriented, dynamic, and responsive to input data alterations.
