Abstract
Three decades of civil war damaged Afghanistan's infrastructure and hindered balanced development. This paper examines rural development as a key factor in Afghanistan's sustainable growth, analyzing specific challenges such as insecurity, unemployment, poverty, and environmental issues while recommending viable solutions based on human and natural resources. The study emphasizes that Afghanistan's majority rural population requires targeted development initiatives, and that water resources and untapped natural resources present significant opportunities for sustainable development.
