Abstract

Cystadenoma is a rare benign epithelial tumor of the salivary glands characterized by multicystic architecture with papillary projections. This case report presents a 24-year-old male patient with a mucinous cystadenoma of the right parotid gland, a variant accounting for approximately 2% of all salivary gland tumors. Clinical and radiological findings, combined with histopathological examination, confirmed the diagnosis. The study emphasizes the importance of histological analysis and complete sampling to differentiate benign cystadenoma from malignant variants such as cystadenocarcinoma.
