Abstract

In the United States, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) was established to improve well-being in the working environment. However, in Pakistan, comprehensive and widespread security guidelines have not been innovated. Workers are commonly unskilled or semi-skilled, inadequately paid, and frequently lack training in safe work practices. This paper evaluates the present legislation being implemented in Pakistan related to health, safety, and environment (HSE) and provides recommendations for improvement. The research employs a quantitative exploratory approach using secondary data to analyze current HSE legislation and identify major reasons for adverse conditions.
